Institution of Civil Engineers
Michael Jones, Managing Director for TRIMENTIS has worked with the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) to help produce a definitive best-practice guide and assessment tool for construction clients. Michael lead development of the maturity assessment profiling tool ClientMAP, and was able to draw on his organisation’s extensive experience of management and leadership best-practice, assessment techniques and their application within the construction industry.
NCVO champions the voluntary sector and volunteering because they’re essential for a better society. They champion the voluntary sector by connecting, representing and supporting voluntary organisations and work to help voluntary organisations and volunteers make the biggest difference they can. NCVO started in 1919 as the National Council of Social Service, following a legacy from Edward Vivian Birchall, who died of wounds in France during World War I. Since then they have continued to support the sector and speak to government in an ever-changing social context. Many established voluntary organisations started out as projects within NCVO, including Age Concern, Citizens Advice Bureau and Community Matters.
